No One In History Has Ever Converted A Goth Into A Christian
Posted by admin on filed in Gothic ReligionIf you’re a Christian looking to convert a Goth into a law-abiding Christian, trust me it’s not worth it.

Trying to do so is extremely dangerous. He will inform his Gothic allies about your attempts to convert him and they’ll visit you nightly in your sleep and begin to smash your face to pieces with flags, clothes irons and smoked kippers.
Instead it’s best to leave a Goth to his religion. For he has already chosen the Dark path and to try to convince him otherwise will just make him even more stubborn!

Dear blogger
I have a question for you: Do you have any idea what you’re talking about?
I know, I know, when it comes to Goths or the Goth scene, as most people like to call it, the subject is controversial. Still there’s no point in bad-mouthing anyone just because you have a biased pre conceived idea about it.
I, for example, am what you might call a Goth and I’m also a Catholic, and I do have morals!! It may be shocking but it’s true!
As for that story you wrote about a girl randomly attaking a guy in the street out of the blue to bite his neck, let me tell you that this girl i either the product of your imagination, or plain crazy. Yes there are crazy people in the world and some of them might be goth… or not! If a man randomly attacks a girl in the street and rapes her, just because he is a normal person, as you like to call it, or a non-goth, people aren’t gonna start thinking that all men who aren’t goths are rapists, that just doen’t make any sense!
Yes we do have different views and oppinions from other people but that doesn’t mean we disagree with everything or that we attack people whi don’t agree with us!
I suggest you start researching before posting stories like that, so you don’t make a fool of yourself. Try being friends with a goth and maybe you’ll find out that we’re not as bad as wou think.
Best Regards

“Trying to do so is extremely dangerous.”
really? you know this from experience? I’d like to hear more about that?
“He will inform his Gothic allies about your attempts to convert him”
well personally I’d generally talk to my friends about anybody who tried to convert me to their religion
“they’ll visit you nightly in your sleep and begin to smash your face to pieces with flags, clothes irons and smoked kippers.”
wow, someone’s got an overactive imagination. Hmmm… perhaps you’ve been listening to the EBM song Incubus by Electric Hellfire Club? lyrics excerpt ‘I come to you in your sleep, when the morning comes you find blood on your sheets’
“Instead it’s best to leave a Goth to his religion.”
I’d say that’s generally true of most people unless you like visits from the hari-Krishnas, Mormons or Jehovah’s Witnesses.
“For he has already chosen the Dark path and to try to convince him otherwise will just make him even more stubborn!”
The Dark path? Can’t say I’ve heard of that religion. In my experiences, most goths I’ve met were agnostic, atheist or pagan. I’ve even met some satanists and christians in the goth community too. Shock of shocks, but goths vary religiously as well.

Hello,
Going through your site now. I am a Goth, a devout Lutheran, active in my church’s Youth Group, help with sunday school, act as an acolyte when needed, help ith christmas service, family Bible hour, etcetera. I’ve been Christian all my life. So what am I? I firmly believe in Jesus Christ, and agree that you should research before posting. A hate site, I ask you . . .

If this is satire, you should really put a warning or something up, or people will think you’re attacking them. Satire can be one of the funniest forms of comedy, but the problem is satire is based off things people actually do, so naturally, people are inclined to take it seriously. You should always put up a warning of some sort if you want to minimize the amount of people calling you stupid and ignorant and maximize the amount of humor found in it. :3
